You see it does not matter how good your website is, what is important is whether people can remember it or if they can find it. When choosing a domain name here are two simple thoughts to consider: - Does what is say’s on the tin.

If your domain name is descriptive of the services or products you offer it will present a much better proposition to your customer and will help them remember the URL next time. You can also leverage your name to get better results when listing with the various online search engines. If your URL is unforgettable, then it can be effectively exploited through conventional media (Press / Radio / TV). Remember it is important that the URL is easy to spell and the shorter the name generally the more memorable. The very best URL’s are the ones, which are both descriptive and memorable.

Determining the value of a domain name is not exactly a science. The best advice we can give you is consider what its value is to you and use this as your target price.
Of course some domain names being sold do have some very obvious uses which the seller may believe should command a higher consideration and in many cases this is true, therefore they may well wish to hold out for the right buyer
As a general rule domain names with the .com extension are more expensive than any others closely followed by the country sepcific variations such as .co.uk
